The story behind it

"WADJ WER SHU RE" was the ancient Egyptian name for the Mediterranean Sea and is translated as 'the Great Green' it was understood as a living entity imbued with the spirit of the divine which, like all other aspects of the natural world, was a gift from the gods. and Shu, was the Egyptian name for the air and the supporter of the sky, and Re, also spelled Ra or Pra, was the Egyptian name for the sun.
